Medical Device Education
Developing new technology for the medical device industry is exciting and challenging. Educating the clinical practitioner to recognize the value of the device and understand its uses
is vital. CMEDDS consultants work closely with existing and start up medical device companies to develop education programs for trainers, salespeople, and the clinical practitioner. In partnership with the client, a CMEDDS consultant will:
- Perform a needs assessment of the medical device and its intended audience(s)
- Develop learning objectives
- Select appropriate learning methods
- Develop curriculum and teaching ancillaries
- Help develop a slide presentation for the instructors
- Train instructors in adult education
- Assist with copy review and approval processes
- Provide train-the-trainer workshops, from beginning to advanced levels
